Why Goliath?

JoJo had seen several young horses by Goliath from different mares. While each had their own personality, they all shared one thing in common: kindness. These horses were also well-built, had nice bone, and were pleasing to the eye.

JoJo was lucky enough to connect with Goliath’s owners and bring her broodmares to see him. Watching Goliath gently greet mares with foals at side was another testament to his kindness. After just one visit, their mares settled, and with the birth of their foals, JoJo was hooked.

When Goliath became available for purchase, JoJo seized the opportunity. He lacked handling and was afraid of people, but it was clear what a good-minded boy he is. It was a challenge to teach this big, gentle boy life among humans, but he has thrived, and he has continued to help our mares produce beautiful littles.

Because we love the product of our herd and recognize their potential, we decided to offer our littles in limited number. These youngsters are well-handled, loved, and trained with an emphasis on preserving their spirits, not dulling their minds, and not hammering young muscle and bones.
